One Day Workshop
Our one day workshop is just a condensed version of our two day posing & business workshop. Our goal is still to teach you the fundamentals of newborn photography, as well as, running a successful business. Our workshop will cover studio lighting, natural lighting (select locations only), newborn posing & safety, parent & sibling posing, post processing and pricing and marketing your business. We will show you how to perfect your poses and how to communicate with parents. You will also learn ways to calm and soothe the baby during a session. Attendee’s will receive a printed booklet of learning material, samples of our contracts, our pricing sheets and prep guides. We will have three newborn models for the day. Below is a tentative schedule for our 1 day workshops.
8am- Meet & Greet
9:30am- First Newborn Model Arrives (beanbag posing)
11:30pm- Lunch – Business, Marketing & Pricing
1:00pm- Second Newborn Model (more posing)
3pm- Third Newborn Model (Prop & Parent Posing)
Post Workshop- Online post processing webinar will be provided from Blissful Baby Workshops. You will also be added to a private FB group where you can continue to grow and ask Alyisa & Janean questions.
You will need to bring a DSLR Camera, a 50mm or 35mm prime lens, note-taking material and questions! You must be proficient with a DSLR camera and have a basic understanding of photoshop. We will send you a list of things you will need to know about your camera beforehand, such as changing the white balance, single point AF mode, etc. Bringing a laptop is optional.
Tuition for the workshop is $1000 per attendee. Class size is limited to 10 photographers. A $250 non-refundable retainer is due to secure your spot. Remaining $750 tuition is due 30 days before your workshop.

**WORKSHOPS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO LIVE WITHIN 50 MILES OF THE KANSAS CITY AREA OR TO PHOTOGRAPHERS WHO PLAN ON MENTORING WITHIN THE NEXT 12 MONTHS. EACH WORKSHOP IS UNIQUE AND MAY DIFFER FROM THE ABOVE SCHEDULE.
